The House is located in Kashmir valley Muzaffarabad. The design is based on local vernacular material yet contemporary design make it critical regionalist style. The house is designed on cribbage construction technique where wooden interlocking system has been introduced in stone walls to make it earthquake resistant building. Moreover the stone and wood ages with time producing different textures and smells making the building timeless. The front main window is designed while keeping in view the scenic beauty of the area while sitting in the main living room having a warmth effect with double heighted ceiling.
